In the past few years, we have heard the phrases "You can BE anything you want to be", and that you "CAN have it all". Does that ring a bell for any of you?
I have thought numerous times, how does this really happen? My thoughts on the matter is that "You can have it all, but possibly not ALL at the same time."
What I find I need to practice is patience, understanding that I have to make smart choices with the resources (time, energy, money, etc) I have and must be deliberate and persistent in choosing clearly what I want to have and what is realistic for me to 'want right now'!
So this week I am considering my choices, I am telling myself, "It is ok not to have it all at this moment." And I am reflecting on what I really want right now - for myself, for my loved ones, for my work and for my play. What about you? What thoughts do you have about 'having it all' and how to get it?
